I provide professional training, workshops, and guest lectures across two areas of practice: Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and LGBTQIA+ affirmative practice and inclusion.
Compassion-Focused Therapy training
focuses on developing a compassionate understanding of shame, self-criticism, emotion regulation, and threat-based responding, and on supporting clinicians to integrate CFT principles and interventions into their therapeutic work. These workshops may include theoretical foundations, formulation frameworks, experiential exercises, and practical strategies for working with complexity in clinical settings.
LGBTQIA+ affirmative practice training
focuses on building clinician and organisational capacity to provide safe, inclusive, and affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals. These workshops address key concepts in affirmative practice, the impact of stigma and minority stress, inclusive language and practices, and ethical considerations in working with gender and sexuality diverse communities.
I have delivered training to health professionals across disciplines, organisations, and as a guest lecturer within university programs. Training is tailored to the audience and context and may be delivered as lectures, in-service workshops, or interactive training sessions.
